Threading Hair Removal Q - How Long Before The Hair Returns?
Q - What are the benefits of Threading? Eyelash Perming This is a permanent method of curling your eyelashes. Curled eyelashes will enhance the appearance of the eyes for a period lasting up to 8 weeks. This treatment does not replace eyelash tinting and will in fact complement it. Your Powder Lounge Attendant will apply a skin test prior to the treatment especially if it is your first treatment or you have any history of eye disorders or allergies. Q – How do I know this is a safe treatment? Q - Why is the treatment only lasting 8 weeks? Eyelash Brow Tinting All lashes are slightly white at the roots and tips, which is why lash tinting makes them look so much longer. This treatment will add colour to the client’s eyelashes and/or eyebrows. A permanent tint is carefully applied to the lashes and left on for 5-10minutes. The tint is removed and the client is then free to wear additional makeup if so wished. The life cycle of the eyelash and eyebrow hair is approximately 6-8weeks therefore, after this period of time the hair will have returned to its original colour. The treatment can be repeated on a regular basis, on average every 6-8 weeks. The Powder Lounge Attendant will apply a skin test to new clients prior to the treatment. This will need to be given at a minimum of 24 hours prior to the actual treatment. Q - Can you tell me the colours available for this treatment? Q - Will the tint come off when I apply mascara, remove make-up or come into contact with water? Eyebrow Shaping Shaping the eyebrows enables anyone to instantly improve and update their look. It is used to enhance the shape of your eyes and create a tidy, polished appearance. This treatment is quick, simple and less painful than doing it yourself. For those who are long-sighted it is the ideal solution. Depending on the rate of your hair growth you will need to repeat this treatment every 2-4 weeks. At The Powder Lounge we can provide a total re-shape or a brow clean up, depending on the clients’ needs.
False Eyelashes False eyelashes can be applied in a strip or individually to the eyes. Professionally applied lashes will create a longer and fuller appearance of your own lashes and can be as natural to look at as you wish. Strip lashes are fashionable and are available in all natural colours and some wacky bright colours. They are temporary, normally removed at the end of the day after that special occasion. Individual lashes are available in natural hair colours and of different lengths and thickness. They are applied to the base of the natural lashes and if cared for will last up to a week. False eyelashes enhance the eye shape and maximise the eyelashes without the use of mascara. Individual lashes will also survive water. They are wonderful for that special occasion and when applied professionally the risk of them falling in your soup during dinner is avoided!
